Seats in Seats' purpose is to create a membership base of theatre-goers (and even theatre "newbies"!) to attend more local theatre, fill unsold seats and support the local Chicago arts industry by increasing the number of theatre attendees in Chicago!  There are many reasons why a theatre releases "comp" tickets, mostly for additional marketing, and they want to fill those empty seats with our members!

It could be a show that hasn't had its "Opening Night" yet, so it's still in "Previews" while the director tweaks the show and they need a full house to see reactions!

It could even be an evening where critics will be there so the audience needs to be full!
